Biography - Dustin E Hannum


Dustin Hannum obtained his Ph.D. in English, with a specialty in antebellum American literature, from the University of Rochester in the fall of 2011. While at UR, he taught freshman writing and undergraduate-level courses in American literature, in addition to working for the university's College Writing Program as both writing placement coordinator and tutor.

In addition to being an instructor at APUS, he is also currently an adjunct faculty member at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY. Dr. Hannum is also an active scholar, presenting some of his research in conferences and publishing an excerpt from his dissertation in the literary journal Arizona Quarterly.
