Biography - Belkacem Kraimeche


Dr. Belkacem (Belka) Kraimeche has been teaching telecommunications and other areas
in electrical and computer engineering, computer science and telecommunications
management for many years. He has been on the faculty of Washington State University (WA), Stevens
Institute of Technology (NJ), James Madison University (VA), the Cooper Union (NY), Pratt
Institute (NY), Columbia University (NY), Al Akhawayn University (Morocco), and Taibah
University (Saudi Arabia). He joined APUS in 2010 where he teaches Information Technology and Security
courses, as well as courses in Arabic and French.

Belka has been active in various professional organizations, and has published widely in
the telecom literature. He holds a Ph.D., an M.Phil. and an M.S.in E.E. from Columbia University,
and an M.S. in computer science. He lives with his family in Northern Virginia.
