Professor's Note
I know it's cliche, but teaching is my passion. Over the past several years, I've worked as an internal and external business consultant to various Fortune 500 companies; and while those experiences have been rewarding (and made me a better teacher), I've always preferred the classroom to the boardroom. I still do consulting work to keep my knowledge and skills relevant, but I am a teacher, first and foremost.
Over the past eleven years, I have taught at community colleges, a nursing college, a major university, and online. For those of you who are new to the online environment, you are in for a treat. My online students have been far-and-away the most interesting group of folks that I've had the pleasure to teach. In a recent term, I had a student with 14 children (that's right, 14), a rare book dealer, an exotic bird breeder, and a real cowboy, all in the same class. Where else but online can you get that sort of diversity?
Go APUS!!
