Frederick Harris earned his bachelors degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Mountain State University and a graduate degree in Strategic Leadership from Mountain State University. He is working to complete his PhD in Criminal Justice. Mr. Harris has extensive experience in the criminal justice profession. He worked in the prison system for the State of Texas for fourteen (14) years, promoting through the ranks and assigned to various duties that directly dealt with incarcerated felons and employees of the State.
Frederick Harris has been a Certified Law Enforcement Officer since 1998 and has been assigned and has experience in several specialized areas within the police department. He is currently assigned as a Police Detective investigating crimes specifically related to homicide and physical/sexual abuse related to children. He has investigated a number of cases involving gang murders, acute head trauma (shaken baby syndrome), family violence resulting in murder and excessive parental discipline, child abductions, and aided in the successful prosecution of suspects. He is a certified forensic hypnotist in the State of Texas and has assisted witnesses and victims recall vital information resulting in arrests of suspects.
Mr. Harris has been deemed by a number of prosecutors to be an expert witness in physical and sexual abuse concerning children. He continues to teach a number of law enforcement classes to police personnel and civilians.
Mr. Harris resides in the State of Texas with his daughter, Jasmine.
