Biography - Jason M MacLeod


Jason Michael MacLeod, a winner of two Academy of American Poets prize, has been published in or has work forthcoming in The North American Review, the Atlanta Review, Dos Passos, Mason's Road, The Connecticut River Review, The Kennesaw Review, The Vermont Literary Review, The Sandy River Review and various other journals. He holds an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Montana and an M.A. in English from Iowa State University where he was a Pearl Hogrefe Fellow in Creative Writing. As an undergraduate he earned a B.A. in English from Grinnell College and a B.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Maine at Farmington. In addition to American Public University, he has taught writing at The University of Montana, Iowa State University and the Florida Institute of Technology.
