As a public historian, I have spent the majority of my career working with volunteers, as an event planner, and as a curator. As my sister explains my job, "She works with dusty artifacts and haunted museums." I completed my doctorate at the University of Toledo in 2009 and am excited about this opportunity to expand my teaching career to more than just my extremely bored sister and UT undergrads. My research interests include Ohio history, the conservation and preservation movement, environmental history, public history, and Middle East studies.
