Biography - Lawanda S Edwards

Hello! My name is LaWanda Edwards and I am delighted to be teaching at American Public University. I have experience as a school counselor and substance abuse counselor. I received a Ph.D. from Auburn University (Counselor Education), Ed.S. from Troy University (School Counseling), and a M.Ed. from Florida A&M University (School Counseling). I currently work as an Assistant Professor at a local university and I enjoy teaching, training, and supervising counselors-in-training. As an American Public University instructor, I am committed to helping you acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to be an effective professional school counselor.
