Biography - Angela Gunshore


Angela Gunshore received her Bachelors degree in History from Indiana University of PA and her second Bachelors degree in Education from Mercyhurst College. She obtained her Masters in Social Science from Edinboro University of Pa with an emphasis on multi-cultural history. Angela has post-graduate credits in African-American Studies, Native American Studies, Women studies and Latino-American and Asian coursework. She has also studied at Gannon University, Loyola Marymount University in LA, Wilkes University and the University of Pennsylvania.
Angela’s own multi-cultural ethnicity has led her to study such a diverse field. She is part Anishnaabe (Ojibwa) Indian. She plans to continue her studies in Education and American Studies with an emphasis on ethnic studies.
Angela lives in Pennsylvania with her husband and three daughters. She currently teaches History for AMU and an alternative High School in Pennsylvania.
