Debra Moody is a business consultant and executive development professional. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Penn State University and, also, an MBA from Penn State. Later, she pursued a Ph.D. in Strategic Management at the University of Florida. Debra began her career in the private sector as a general manager in operations and, later, as a market analyst and business consultant before entering academia. She taught strategy and executive skills for 20 years at universities across the country, including Penn State, University of Florida, Sonoma State, University of Central Florida, University of California-Irvine, University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and University of Richmond. Her interests and expertise lie in the areas of strategic analysis and planning, leadership development, and strategy implementation. Debra’s work is published in several peer-reviewed journals and she has taught in Fortune 500 executive development programs. She lives in Virginia and enjoys sailing, scuba diving, the performing arts, and volunteering at the SPCA.
