Jennifer Thompson Stone received her BA in English from SUNY Geneseo, an MA in Humanities and Social Thought from NYU, and an MA in English from the University of Rochester. She is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Rochester, working on her dissertation, which is focused on the geospatial significance in four contemporary memoirs.
Jennifer has taught writing and composition at the University of Rochester for the past four years. She also just finished co-teaching a Twentieth Century British Novel course with her dissertation advisor, and served as a TA for an American Literature survey course. Prior to graduate school, she worked in the editorial departments of Atria Books/Washington Square Press, and Black Dog and Leventhal Publishers in New York, NY.
In addition to her love of books and writing, Jennifer enjoys cooking (and eating!), digging in her garden, movies, and playing outside with her husband and three-year-old son.
