Biography - Deborah M Zeringue

“Please allow me to introduce myself…” While, in many ways, I am not like Mick Jagger, I do admire his zest for life…I’m Deborah Zeringue. I go by many names; my students call me Mrs. Z. I am a professional student for life. I have been teaching on and off line since 1997. I have been in college since 1986. Among many other things, I have three Masters, a PhD (ABD) in Rhetoric and Composition, and “a partridge in a pear tree” (minus the partridge). Oh, yeah, toss in two years of law school! ). On my list now is an Ed.S. (and a partridge).
On a more personal note, I was born and bred in North Carolina and still carry the accent. I now live in Lake City, Florida. I have a grown boy living in California. I love the outdoors. For your visual, I am a left-handed, red-headed Libra. I love the Rolling Stones and Bob Marley. I read Anne Rice, Clive Barker, and John Grisham. The Matrix Trilogy is the only movie there is! I am always open to new suggestions…
“Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.” ~ Dr. Seuss
"Trying to get everyone to like you is a sign of mediocrity."

~ Colin Powell
