Biography - Sarah Hyde


Sarah Hyde received her Ph.D. in American History from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Her minor field specialties include Latin American History and Asian History. Her research focuses on education in the antebellum South. In addition to teaching part time for APUS, she is also an assistant professor at River Parishes Community College in Sorrento, Louisiana.

Dr. Hyde resides with her husband, three sons, and dog in south Louisiana where they indulge in amazing food, great music, and a Super Bowl winning football team.
