Summary
Over 18 years of healthcare experience including a mix of direct care and administrative positions predominantly in various hospitals and health care organizations within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Experience working with individuals (youth through adult age range) with medical, physical rehabilitation and behavioral health needs. Experience included providing treatment and patient education programs and individual sessions. Additionally, over 10 years of experience teaching at the college level. Course topics include diversity, disability awareness, diagnoses and treatment interventions in behavioral health and physical rehabilitation, group facilitation, medical record documentation, health care issues and trends and other topics.
