Rodger Moore is a retired U.S. Army Special Forces Sergeant Major with 26 years of leadership and service. Mr. Moore’s last assignment was as Company Sergeant Major, he was the senior listed advisor in charge of individual and collective training, professional development, and combat readiness of the European Commander’s In-Extremist Force (CIF/Tier II) consisting of 120 soldiers and $20 million worth of equipment. This unit was the Commander’s forward deployed Contingency Response Force capable of resolving sensitive crisis situations. Mr. Moore has exceptional experience in all areas of Special Operations, including counter-terrorism, surveillance, security assessment, sniper marksmanship, small unit tactics and training. His specialized experience includes infrastructure security, developing and executing high-risk exercises and evaluations such as integration of U.S. Special Operations, U.S. agencies and foreign militaries and agencies for the 2004 Greece Summer Olympics, as well as initial planning for the Italy Winter Olympics in 2006. He has broad international experience that includes supervision of planning, coordination, and evaluation of U.S. Special Forces units covering a 98-country area of responsibility in Europe and Africa.
Mr. Moore is currently employed as the Director of Canine Operations for a Government Contracting company in North Carolina where he is responsible for 75 employees. The Company supplies Improvised Explosive Devise (IED) detection dogs, Combat Tracking Dogs and Multipurpose Canines to the Department of Defense and Department of State. They also provide Narcotics detection dogs to Law Enforcement Agencies. He oversees all aspects of the program, working closely with individual Program and Project Managers to ensure comprehensive technical, analytical and programmatic leadership.
Mr. Moore holds a Master’s Degree in Security Management from Webster University and has completed courses offered by the Department of Homeland Security’s Emergency Management Institute. He is a graduate of the Special Forces Operations and Intelligence school and has received certifications in National Incident Management Systems, Multi-Hazard Emergency Planning, Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program, and Principles of Emergency Management. Mr. Moore maintains a Top Secret Security Clearance.
He has been happily married for over 22 years, and has two beautiful daughters who are both attending college in North Carolina.
