Enid Naranjo is a seasoned business professional with experience in the multicultural marketing, Hispanic media, non-profit management, and education. She is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico (B.A.) and Inter American University of Puerto Rico (J.D. 1983).
A native of Puerto Rico, she moved to the United States in 1987 to apply her legal training in New York City. She later moved to Florida to explore opportunities in business that would highlight her understanding of cultural diversity and her skill in building partnerships.
In 1997 she was named Associated Communications Director for the Hispanic Radio Network, the leading producer and distributor of educational and informational media serving US Hispanic communities. In this capacity, she provided clients with cost-effective solutions to produce and place multimedia-marketing campaigns with Spanish-language network affiliates.
Ms. Naranjo followed this experience with her work at Colón Enterprises, a multicultural marketing agency servicing clients such as Nestle USA, Major League Baseball, and Pacific Trading Cards. As Associate Director, Enid led the implementation of Nestlé’s sponsorship of the Carlos Baerga Celebrity Softball Game in Puerto Rico and the Manny Mota Celebrities Classic in Santo Domingo. Both programs had strong fundraising components that provided enrichment programs for youth.
She later served as a Program Director with Alumbrando Senderos, a non–profit organization offering culturally relevant programming to governmental agencies in response to a changing Hispanic demographic in both Palm Bay and Melbourne, FL. Her responsibilities included operations management, youth advocacy and development of special programs for underserved Hispanic youth.
In recent years Ms. Naranjo has focused her efforts on educational development at the college level. In her capacity as an Adjunct Professor, she has taught courses in both English and Spanish, specializing in Business Law and Ethics. She is also has skilled in the use and application of E-Learning Software such as nExt and APUS Sakai.
Ms. Naranjo currently resides in Palm Bay, FL with her husband Frank Rosado. She is the mother of three children and enjoys cooking, dancing and reading in her spare time.
