Biography - Lee Effner

Scott Effner holds an MBA from The University of Tulsa along with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix, graduating with honors. He is a member of the business honor societies Beta Gamma Sigma and Sigma Iota Epsilon and served on the University of Tulsa MBA Student Advisory Council.

Scott currently works within the Procurement organization of a Fortune 5 corporation serving as Category Manager of Global Aviation. Scott’s professional background is quite diverse, holding positions in Accounting, Marketing, Finance, and Information Technology at various stages throughout his career.

Scott lives outside of Tulsa, OK with his wife, Nancy, who works in the mental health field and is also a Tulsa graduate, and their two wonderful children. An active family, they love attending sporting events, particularly college football, and you can see them screaming for the University of Tulsa Golden Hurricane at every home game and some on the road! An avid runner, Scott races competitively for the Fleet Feet Sports of Tulsa Racing Team. Into everything fitness, he is currently tackling the P90X fitness regime and has recently branched out into the world of triathlon with the ultimate goal of competing in an Ironman.
