Biography - Janice M Flegle

My name is Jan Flegle and I live in the metropolitan Atlanta, GA area in Canton, GA. We also have a weekend get-away cottage in the North GA Mountains which is a wonderful place to rest and recharge. We like to go there as often as possible.

My background is somewhat varied. My first career was as a Registered Nurse and I still maintain my nursing license. I worked in nursing and healthcare management for 20 years. For my midlife crisis I decided to change careers and I got an undergraduate degree in information technology. (Which my husband says is a better than me buying a Porsche and leaving the kid and him, so as midlife crises go it really wasn’t so bad!) I worked in healthcare information technology management for 12 years. In 2006 I decided it was time for another career change and I went back to school and got my graduate degree in business from Kaplan University. Two years later I got a second M.B.A. in Finance. I have a passion for online teaching and I think that this will to be my last career change!

My husband, Larry and I have been married for 42 years and we have one daughter who lives in Decatur, GA. We enjoy traveling and spending time with our family and friends. One of my favorite pastimes is reading.
