Biography - Dwayn M Hanford


Professor Hanford received a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College, a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Maryland University College, and a Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the National Defense Intelligence College.

He is an active duty Army Warrant Officer with over twenty one years of experience as an All-Source Analyst/Technician. He currently works in the Defense Intelligence Agency.

His prior experience includes teaching counterinsurgency and intelligence at the Counterinsurgency Training Center in Kabul, Afghanistan. He has been a Senior Analyst for Iraq at the 1st Information Operations Command, an All-Source Production Chief for the US Army Pacific Command, and Senior Analyst for Army Central Command for the initial operations in OEF and OIF. He has also taught Intelligence Studies at the Royal Nepalese Intelligence Academy in Katmandu, Nepal.

Professor Hanford currently lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and three children.
