Nikki S Charles

Nikki Charles has a BS in Communications from Shepherd University and a MA in Thanatology (Death, Dying and Bereavement) from Hood College. She is a member of Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society.

Nikki currently works as the Victim Services Administrator for the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board. She did her graduate work at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children where she became interested in victim assistance, post traumatic stress disorder and ambiguous loss. Nikki finds her work very humbling, gratifying and challenging.

As an undergraduate, Nikki served as a writing center tutor for three years. She understands the challenges of the online classroom and is prepared to help students meet their educational goals.

She enjoys reading, traveling and rooting for the Washington Redskins. She lives in Frederick, MD with her husband, two sons and a very old dog.
