Biography - Diane M Barrett


Diane Barrett has been involved in the IT industry for 20 years. She spent 7 years in software development before becoming involved in education, security, and forensics.

Diane holds a MS in Technology with a specialization in Information Security and will be starting dissertation work for a PhD in business administration with a specialization in information security shortly. She holds many industry certifications including CISSP, ISSMP, NSA IAM/IEM and is Digital Forensic Certified Practitioner.
She currently is a forensic trainer for Paraben Corporation and has been doing contract forensic and security assessment work for the past several years in the Phoenix area.
Diane have either co-authored or been the lead author on several computer forensics and security books including ExamCram2 Security+, 2nd Ed (2008 objectives), Computer Forensics JumpStart, Computer Networking Illuminated, and Virtualization and Forensics.
She also is a regular committee member for the Conference on Digital Forensics, Security and Law and presenter at Paraben's Forensic Innovations Conference.
