
Professor Boswell is the former Regional Legal Advisor for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). She advised over 100 special agents on complex criminal and civil matters that included asset forfeiture, violent crime, organized crime, narcotics trafficking, public corruption and fraud. Professor Boswell has experience in both trial and appellate litigation. She is currently in private practice in South Florida.
Professor Boswell attended Florida International University where she received a B.S. in Hospitality Management in 1991. She subsequently attended Loyola University School of Law and earned her Juris Doctor degree in 1995. Immediately thereafter she joined the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office as an Assistant State Attorney prosecuting misdemeanor and felony cases.
Professor Boswell is admitted to practice in Florida, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Professor Boswell lives in Florida with her family.
