Biography - Nancy M Heckel

Nancy, aka Annie Heckel, received her BA in English and Music Performance at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, and her MA in English Literature at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. She is currently finishing her PhD in English Literature at the University of Rochester, writing on the place of narrative in the massively multiplayer online role playing game World of Warcraft. Her experience teaching composition at the college level began at the University of Rochester in 2002, and she is enjoying her work with the diverse student body of AMU/APUS.
