Professor Kimberly McClure has worked in international affairs for 8 years with the U.S. government. Most of her career has focused on South Asia and the Middle East, having worked in India, Afghanistan, Egypt, and Yemen. She holds a bachelors degree in international relations from Stanford University and a master of public policy degree from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.
In 2011, she started a program called Global Gateways that introduces underserved DC high school students to global issues, international careers, and study abroad. This program was launched in conjunction with Global Kids, Inc.
