Biography - Daniel Taylor


Dan Taylor currently serves as the Senior Intelligence Officer for the Pacific Division in DIA's Office of Military Forces Analysis. He has served in a variety of analytic positions, primarily focused on East Asian security issues. He has also served in DIA's Executive Support Operation, providing intelligence support to senior officials in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. In 2007 he deployed to Iraq as a Branch Chief and Senior Intelligence Officer in support of MNF-I in Baghdad.
Dan is also a veteran of the US Army, serving as a Field Artilleryman on active duty in Germany, Bosnia, and Kansas. He also served in the Army National Guard in Missouri and Pennyslvania.
He earned his MS in Defense and Strategic Studies from Missouri State University and his BS in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College.
