Biography - Denis R Bourcier


Dr. Denis Bourcier is a private consultant supporting the Aerospace Industry with quality and EHS auditing and program support services. He was formerly the Director of Quality and Regulatory Compliance for a global chemical management services and aerospace chemical distributor. His industry experience covers over 20 years of EHS and Quality Assurance program management, including 5 years in the aerospace industry as a corporate toxicologist, and 10 years as an environmental scientist. His formal training is in the area of Environmental and Industrial Toxicology (Ph.D., Utah State University), Environmental Sciences (MS, Washington State University), Natural Resource Studies (BS, UMASS) and more recently, quality assurance (Online MSQA, CSU-DH). Dr. Bourcier’s academic experience includes both university-level teaching and externally funded research in environmental health science. His current research involves development of integrated management system tools for conducting internal audits. As a RABQSA certified QMS and EMS auditor, there is ample opportunity to apply those audit tools to environmental and occupational health management.
