Professor Richard K. Madey received his Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics with a concentration in Computer Science from Kent State University; Masters in Business Administration from Cleveland State University; and did graduate studies in Maritime, Port and Supply Chain Management at The Maritime Institute of Old Dominion University.

Richard has over 20 years of extensive and diverse experience in commercial, operational and financial management in logistics and global supply chain process and systems project management. Richard is a consultant based in Virginia Beach performing global supply chain project and performance management for businesses and government. Throughout his career, Rick has taught graduate and undergraduate students in mathematics; computer science; and commercial, operational and financial supply chain management.

Richard is married to a beautiful wife, Terri and they are proud parents of two lovely girls, Lauren and Michelle. The Madey’s love to go to the beach and concerts together, they also enjoy biking, tennis and soccer. Richard played college hockey and still plays, referees and mentors officials. Richard also enjoys cooking, remodeling and gardening.
