Biography - April D Wick

My name is April Wick and I live with my wonderful family in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. I have 3 beautiful children, who are 6, 4, and 9 months. I have just finished my first year teaching at APUS. Prior to teaching at APUS I taught elementary school. With the opportunity to play Div. 1 collegiate basketball, I attended Lafayette College, in Easton, PA, where I earned my Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology. Upon graduation I attended Marymount University, in Washington, DC, where I obtained my Master's Degree in Education. And, through all of my experiences I am very grateful to be here at APUS working with the students and faculty.

In my spare time I teach CPR/First Aid for the American Red Cross. I also have my Personal Training Certification, through AFPA, and work with local gyms. I enjoy playing basketball, tennis, and of course most of all, with my kids.

I look forward to working with the faculty and students at APUS.
