Biography - Janet L Felder


Janet Felder holds a Master of Science in Community Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega, GA. She most recently worked as an Exceptional Family Member Program Specialist with Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC until becoming a full-time instructor in 2009. She continues to serve as a volunteer and an advocate for military families who have special needs to ensure that they receive appropriate care, housing, and accommodations. Janet hails from the North Georgia Mountains and currently resides in the Quantico, Virginia area with her husband, who is an active duty member. She loves to garden, ride her bike (the kind you pedal), and enjoys playing outdoors.
