Biography - Chris Deeter

Hi! My name is Chris Deeter. I'm excited to be working with APUS!

A bit about me, I want you all to know that I love teaching! It is one of the most invigorating things I do. Facilitating learning is most successful when learners and instructors communicate fully.

I am the father of five, 2 boys and 3 girls ages 14-23. My wife of 25 years is a saint! I have a master's degree in School Administration and a PHD in Educational Studies. My dissertation examined the impact of online learning on high school chemistry students.

My work life has centered around education. I have taught grades 3 through graduate school. I have also been an adjunct faculty for several online high schools and universities.
