Biography - Yhana C Chavis


Professor Chavis completed her Bachelor's degree in Spanish from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA and received her MS in Higher Education Management at the University of Pennsylvania. While at Penn, she focused on issues of access to institutions of higher education.

Her professional experience in higher education started at the University of Pennsylvania in their undergraduate office of admissions. She currently works for Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management as an Associate Director of Admissions. Her primary responsibilities include serving on the admissions committee, managing multiple student groups and developing a yield strategy for the office. She lives in Chicago, IL.
