Biography - Eleanor Hewitt

I am a Southerner by nature, but I was born in the North. According to my DD214, I spent five years, eleven months and 29 days in the US Army, a long time ago in a universe far, far away. I spent most of my army career in administration.

I have taught in a major university, several community colleges, a career college and on-line. I have taught a variety of general education courses, including English, psychology, algebra, statistics, sociology and several others. I really do enjoy, however, teaching first term courses like COLL100. I like watching the students morph from nervous newbies to experienced online students.

When I am not in the classroom, I like reading, knitting and playing with my three dogs.
