Biography - Brian Weber


Brian Mark Weber holds a Master of Arts degree in Military History from Norwich University, a Master of Arts degree in English Literature from Washington College of Maryland, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in American History and English from Norwich University. In addition to teaching in the American Public University System, Brian is an adjunct professor of English at Anne Arundel Community College in Maryland.

Brian brings a wealth of experience to the online programs at American Military University. He earned his second master's degree (in Military History) online through the Norwich University School of Graduate Studies and completed online graduate business courses. In addition, he teaches online English courses to undergraduate students at Anne Arundel Community College. Brian is certified to teach online courses utilizing the Educator program and the ANGEL (A New Global Environment for Learning) program, and also has experience working with the Blackboard and WebCT online learning programs. As a result, Brian understands the needs and challenges of online students and works to create an environment that is rigorous and supportive.

Brian's areas of expertise include the Constitutional Convention, the American Revolution, the abolitionist movement, ancient Greek and Roman warfare, American military history, American government, and the Constitution of the United States.

Other than teaching, Brian works as a writer, columnist, political analyst/consultant, television and radio voice-over artist, freelance meteorologist, and professional calligrapher. His hobbies and interests include target archery, billiards, hiking, camping, fishing, traveling, photography, snowmobiling, and kayaking.
