Terri L. Wilkin graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law in May 2007. Terri is admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia, and has been admitted in the Federal United States District Court for the District of Maryland. Terri is also a certified Mediator. Prior to law school, she obtained a Master of Science dual degree from the Johns Hopkins University in Leadership and Finance/Accounting graduating with honors in 1997. Her Bachelor of Science degree was received in 1991 from the University of Maryland where she graduated Cum Laude with a concentration in Accounting and a minor in Criminal Justice. Terri just graduated (02/12) from the University of Phoenix with a Master of Arts in Education/Adult Education and Training (MAED/AET), a program of study designed to develop skills to work with adult learners in an online environment. She is currently enrolled in a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) program with a specialization in Adult Education at Walden University.
Terri retired fromm the Maryland State Police as a Lieutenant assigned to the Department Prosecutor's Office where she was responsible for all disciplinary matters involving both troopers and civilians. She retired on September 5th, 2012 after almost 26 years of service. Terri represented the Department in Court proceedings involving those entities and individuals that are licensed by the Department as well as grievances and appeals!! Terri also developed curriculum and taught to both seasoned law enforcement officers and academy recruits in constitutional law, criminal law, risk management, ethics, evidence... Terri served in various capacities throughout her career with the Maryland State Police to include assignments in patrol, criminal and drug investigations, white collar crime, intelligence work, training/police academy, and as the Deputy Director of the Planning and Research Division.
Terri moved to Key West, Florida on September 9th and has 2 grown children and 6 grandchildren. Terri's interests and hobbies include weightlifting, running, yoga, bootcamp, reading, riding a motorcycle...
