Angela Riggs received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia and her Master of Public Health degree from Boston University. Her area of research focuses on the social and behavioral aspect of public health. Currently, as a government contractor in the Washington, D.C. area, Ms. Riggs has worked on various contracts under the Center of Disease Control, the National Center for Education Statistics, the Department of Justice, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and others. She has also worked in various health care capacities at Boston Medical Center and the Massachusetts of Department of Public Health. Outside of work, she commits much of her time volunteering with local charities.
