Originally from Ohio, the USAF has given me the opportunity to see many countries around the world. Starting off as Missile Combat Crew in charge of ICBMs and then on to flying the KC-135, it has been an interesting and diverse career. I have flown all around the world and gotten the opportunity to experience some of their culture. I have flown operational missions in Operations Southern Watch, Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom and Horn of Africa and been stationed at numerous bases in the Middle East. I have also been on the ground in Afghanistan for a small amount of time and had a four month tour at the Combined Air and Space Operations Center as the Chief of the Air Refueling Control Team. It has been an outstanding opportunity to experience warfare from several different perspectives. I have also been stationed at Nellis AFB, were I was the Director of Operations for the OSS of the USAF Weapons School. I have been an instructor at the school for more than four years now and enjoy teaching more than I ever thought I would. I am currently serving in the Future Ops Division of USAFE.
On a more personal note. I have been blessed with a loving and dedicated wife and two incredible children. They have put up with all of my deployments and supported me every step of the way. I really don't know how they do it. We enjoy hiking as a family and all sorts of different sports. Every moment spent with my family is an cherished treasure.
