Biography - Clifton Harmon


Clifton  Harmon

Clifton Harmon received his Bachelor of Science, Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University, and his Master of Arts in Human Resources Development and Management from Webster University, St Louis, MO.

He has authored comprehensive promotion evaluation examinations for over 20,000 enlisted personnel and established long-range training plans and programs relative to the professional development of assigned enlisted people (career total over 5000). He also oversaw a training program for more than 450 aircrew personnel, directed communication training, chose relevant topics and organized classes on an annual basis.

His awards include the Air Force Chief of Staff Team Excellence Award for Night Operations Concepts, the St Louis Federal Excellence in Government and Distinguished Graduate, Air Force Senior Non-Commissioned Officer Academy. He has been awarded the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Air Medal and the Joint Service Commendation Medal.


In his free time, Cliff enjoys traveling with his wife of 24 years, Carolyn, cooking, running, and reading. He has competed in numerous Triathlons and when time allows from managing two teens and a pre-teen, he tries to prepare for more endurance events.
