Biography - Dale Reece

Dale Reece

Dale Reece is a full-time faculty member for American Public University (APUS). As a first generation college graduate, Dale enjoys helping students begin or continue their college journey. She earned a Master of Science in Human Resources Development from Western Carolina University while working full-time, and understands the challenges students face while juggling many roles.

During the past 29 years, Dale has contributed to both the public and private sector as a community college admissions director, a corporate training specialist and manager, an employment specialist, and most recently, a full time instructor for APUS.

As a trailing spouse, Dale has moved several times with her husband, who works for the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). In each new location, she and her husband of 29 years enjoy learning about the regional culture, cuisine, and history. As a couple, they enjoy hiking, cooking, cycling, reading, and playing with their two dogs.

Gardening, reading, and hiking are some of Dale’s favorite hobbies.
