Scott Swanson, is a special operations intelligence advisor focused on Irregular Warfare mission sets, covert proxy orchestration, and counter threat finance / illicit economic activity. He has provided assistance and advisory work to Department of Defense, State, OGA, and SCI special activity projects.
He has extensively covered operational considerations with specific focus on Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Somalia, Sudan, Kenya, Algeria, Mali, Libya, and Venezuela. Mr.Swanson is a published author and content contributor to Army Military Intelligence and JFKSWCS Special Operations Forces University, among others. He has presented as HUMINT guest instructor at CGSC Special Operations Forces (SOF) Studies, School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas, and regularly at the Joint Special Operations University's Irregular Warfare Advanced Course as an intelligence specialist.
