Biography - Scott Swanson

Scott Swanson, is a special operations intelligence advisor focused on Irregular Warfare mission sets, covert proxy orchestration, and counter threat finance / illicit economic activity. He has provided assistance and advisory work to Department of Defense, State, OGA, and SCI special activity projects.

He has extensively covered operational considerations with specific focus on Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Somalia, Sudan, Kenya, Algeria, Mali, Libya, and Venezuela. Recently, Mr. Swanson contributed to policy recommendations and Irregular Warfare concepts for Middle East considerations, illicit trade activities, social-network value exchange mechanisms, and Counter Threat Finance collaborating with other complex conflict authorities on a 12 article series--Irregular Warfare in the 21st Century. www.irregularwarfare.org/IWWritings.html He currently moderates and contributes to counter threat finance forums within the Illicit Finance Forum www.illicitfinance.com.

Mr.Swanson is a published author and content contributor to Army Military Intelligence and JFKSWCS Special Operations Forces University, among others. Leavenworth, Kansas, and regularly at the Joint Special Operations University's Irregular Warfare Advanced Course as an intelligence specialist.
