Katherine Jackson received her BA in English Literature and Philosophy from Wheaton College, and her Masters in English from the University of Maine at Orono. Katherine is currently employed with Portland Community College as an English Instructor. She has worked in traditional and online teaching environments for the past fifteen years, including time spent at Cascadia Community College and the University of Maine. Katherine also worked for a series of specialized education programs, including Legal Outreach in New York City and Upward Bound at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. Katherine has published in Chawton House Library’s The Female Spectator and has worked extensively with the Jane Austen Society of North America. Katherine lives in the great state of Oregon with her husband Brad and her daughter Annabel. She loves to downhill ski, garden, and create masterpieces with fused glass.
