Biography - Thomas A. Werner

Tom Werner received his BA in Business Administration from Methodist College in 1987 and his MA in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University in 2007. Tom currently works as a Police Officer with the City of San Diego and has prior law enforcement experience as a Deputy Sheriff with the Sonoma County Sheriffs Office. Tom is also a CID Special Agent in the Army Reserve. His extensive experience in law enforcement includes assignments to patrol, SWAT, court security, and field training. In 2004, Tom served a one-year mobilization to Iraq as a CID Agent. Prior to his entry into law enforcement, Tom served on active duty with the 82nd Airborne Division and 5th Special Forces Group.
