Fereidoon Shahrokh received a master’s degree in computer science from State University of New York and he was awarded his Ph.D. in economics from West Virginia University. Dr. Shahrokh started his career at the West Virginia State Tax Department where he developed the first integrated micro-macro linked commodity model of a state economy. He served as an associate director of research at the University of Baltimore. He currently serves as a Deputy Director of Research at Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development. An expert in econometric modeling and forecasting, he is published in the Journal of Regional Science, Energy Economic, Review of Regional Studies and many others. Dr. Shahrokh is avid reader fascinated with mysticism and spirituality. He enjoy all kinds of sport activities including playing soccer and basketball.
