Biography - Itasha Douglas


Dr. Douglas currently serves as a middle school teacher in an inner city middle school. She is presently teaching Spanish I. She also teaches part-time for various online colleges in the fields of history and education. She teaches Spanish (levels 1 and 2) at a local community college. She has also worked as a Mobile Therapist working in the homes of special needs students who have diagnoses that range from Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD), Bi-Polar, Gender Identity Crisis, Aspergers and Behavioral Issues. Before pursuing a career in teaching Dr. Douglas worked in the business world as liaison for Latin American Companies and American Companies such as Mars Inc.

Dr. Douglas enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and relaxing. Dr. Douglas has a wonderful husband and 2 children whom she loves dearly. She enjoys helping others reach their full potential even if it means that she has to take some criticism. She is a high achiever and helps to build students who are also high achievers. Recently, she received her K-12 administrative license and hopes to be working as an administrator in the near future.
