Yvonne Ho received her Bachelor of Arts degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook with a major in French Literature and a minor in Asian Studies. She also holds a Master of Arts degree in French Literature and Language from Middlebury College and she received another Master of Arts degree from UCLA (University of California at Los Angeles) in Teaching English as a Second Language (Applied Linguistics).
Yvonne teaches Effective Persuasive Writing and Utilizing Information in College Writing for Axia College of the University of Phoenix Online. Previously, she was an English/ESL teacher teaching second grade through eleventh grade( English Reading, Writing, ESL, SAT Essay Preparation, TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) Preparation and GED English Preparation). She has taught ESL/English writing for 16 years in schools in California. A copy of her Master's thesis for Applied Linguistics, "The Role of Non Scripted and Scripted Video in Foreign Language Teaching," can be found in the UCLA library. A member of TESOL, Yvonne enjoys teaching English/ESL to students of all ages.
Her hobbies include: digital photography, web site design, writing short science fiction stories and riding her bike along the beach while the sun is setting. She is a dog person rather than a cat person!!!
