Dr. Parker holds a Doctorate Degree in Education in Organizational Leadership from Argosy University - Sarasota, Florida. He received his Masters Degree from the University of Nebraska. Additionally, he received his Bachelor Degree from the University of Oklahoma.
Dr. Parker retired from the military after serving 21 years in the medical field. Duties included providing medical care in different military settings and performing duties as a medical platoon leader. These duties consisted of organizational training, counseling, and preparing junior enlisted and commissioned officers for the next echelon of leadership. Additional duties included attending organizational meetings to keep the commander updated on the health of the organization and provide recommendations for keeping the organization healthy and physically fit.
Dr. Parker’s community service activities, in the area of leadership, includes serving on the committee responsible for providing educational activities for the local medical organization and the surrounding community. His current research interests are in the area of leadership with focus on leadership within medical organizations and U.S. military leadership and evaluation processes.
