Heather O'Connell completed her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at the University of Oregon, where she also obtained a Master Degree in Athletic Administration. Her interest areas are sport and health psychology. Her interest in working with college populations is directly linked to the importance of this transitional period in the lives of young adults as they strive to formulate long-term goals and further their personal and professional development.
Heather's goal in life is to achieve a balance between work and play, stability and adventure, independence and community. Education is a tool for enhancing self-awareness, and Heather wants to educate others while never ceasing to further her own personal growth.
