Diane Bryan has served the therapeutic community for 28 years as a crisis intervention therapist. She has worked in direct care, day treatment, residential treatment, in the forensic system, the deinstitutionalization of the mentally ill and the mentally retarded population for the states of New Mexico and New York, designed the Ombudsmen Program for northern New Mexico, and as a lead member of the Crisis Intervention Team at several hospitals. She has her own practice that operates under the name of On Site Crisis Intervention which is a corporation working in New Mexico and Texas. She is state licensed in New Mexico and Texas, and holds several national certifications in bilateral stimulation and addiction counseling. She is also an ordained minister and frequently participates in guidance pertaining to spiritual issues. Her dissertation is titled, Faith as a Power for Social Change. Its Definition and Function. Her experience in the teaching profession includes 13 years at Webster University, nine years at Park University, six years at the University of Phoenix, and six years at the Sergeants Major Academy on Fort Bliss. She also conducts online courses for several graduate universities.
