AMU, POTI Cooperative Degree Agreement

American Military University (AMU), in cooperation with The Peace Operations Training Institute (POTI), has evaluated the curriculum and will award graduates credit hours to be applied toward an Associates of Arts - General and any Bachelor's Degree program.

Agreement Overview
 
  • Students who have successfully completed courses at The Peace Operations Training Institute (POTI), formerly known as UNITAR-POCI, will be awarded up to 22 hours of transfer credit to be applied to an Associate of Arts - General or any Bachelor's Degree program.

  • Courses must have been completed on or after January 1, 2007 and certificates with EXACT course title name matches must be provided by the student.

If a student thinks a course taken through POTI is the same course as one listed here, but the title is NOT an exact match, the student must provide supporting documentation from UNITAR-POTI that verifies the two course titles are for the same course, including same syllabus and course material covered. Any such inquiries should go to creditawards@apus.edu
