Cooperative Degree Agreement with Cochise College

American Public University System, the parent institution of American Military University (AMU), and Cochise College in Arizona have signed an articulation agreement that will assist intelligence operations graduates' transition into AMU's online bachelor's degree program in intelligence.

Cochise Cooperative Degree Agreement

This cooperative agreement allows students graduating from Cochise College with an associate degree in intelligence operations to easily transfer into AMU's bachelor of arts in intelligence studies upon application to AMU. AMU offers the nation's leading online intelligence degree programs. Available intelligence concentrations include:

  • Criminal Intelligence
  • General
  • Intelligence Analysis
  • Intelligence Collection
  • Intelligence Operations
  • Terrorism Studies

Students graduating with Cochise College intelligence operations degrees may transfer up to 90 credits toward core, major and general program requirements into AMU's intelligence bachelor's degree program.

Notes:

  1. Terms of this agreement apply to Cochise students who transfer credits into an applicable AMU degree program on or after April 16, 2007.
  2. The University System also has a cooperative degree program agreement with the U.S. Army Intelligence Center at Fort Huachuca

About the Intelligence Faculty

The AMU Intelligence faculty brings relevant theory and real-world experience to the AMU Intelligence curriculum. Twenty-one of the 22 professors teaching in the Intelligence program have experience serving within the intelligence community.

Dr. Jonathan S. Lockwood is a Colonel in the United States Army Reserves and is currently the Course Director for Intelligence and National Military Strategy at the Joint Military Intelligence College’s PGIP- Reserve Program. -> More

Dr. Michael Collier, retired military with an intel background, is currently a full-time Professor of National Security and Intelligence Studies at AMU and also serves as the Program Manager for Intelligence and National Security.   -> More
